Tasting Note

A single-barrel selection of the very best Shiraz of the vintage. Deeply flavoured and richly textured, it opens with macerated satsuma plum and blackberry, lifted by hints of baking spice, brandied fruits, liquorice, and dark chocolate. Earth, panforte, espresso and oak spice add depth and complexity. Full-bodied with velvety flow and thick, powdery tannins, it retains freshness and energy through a long, powerful finish.

The Story

This special patch of fruit was handpicked off the family vineyard… I knew this would be the next addition to my Single Barrel Selection range. I allowed the wine to mature in new French oak for two years, taking on characteristics of a true Barossa Shiraz. I am excited to finally share this wine with you.
